Influential women spoke about becoming agents of change and champions of the environmental and sustainability movement in the Dallas Metropolitan area. Included lunch and a chance to explore The Dallas College Native Plant and Pollinator Windmill Garden.
Bat World Workshop – September 2021
Why save bats?? WE had an educational workshop with Kate Rugroden from the Bat World Sanctuary. We had a wonderful time enjoying snacks, white sangria, and learned about our local bat population.
Bat World MidCities, an official Bat World Sanctuary Rescue Center, rescues hundreds of bats every year who might otherwise die. Lifetime sanctuary is given to non-releasable bats, including those that are orphaned, injured, or elderly.
