Join Women in the Environment at at The Dallas Zoo for a presentation on new and exciting sustainability initiatives at The Dallas Zoo, presented by Shannon College, manager of the Dallas Zoo Ambassador Animal Programs and co-chair of the zoo’s Sustainability Steering Committee.
Originally a grass roots “Green Team,” the SSC is working to find more ways to help the zoo walk the talk when it comes to conserving resources. From creative reuse to systematic reorganization, the Dallas Zoo is taking great strides to become a leader in sustainable practices within their community, encouraging others to help them create a better world for animals.
